Why it's hard to do what we want

I'm on a plane, on my way to meet a client for a 1:1 intensive.

Over a couple of days at a fancy hotel, I'll help her build the bones and sales strategy for her dream offer: in this case, a very high-ticket, high-impact workshop that empowers minoritized leaders.

This is my specialty. I help you get clear on what you really want, and then I help you conjure the courage to be the person who actually does it.

A gif of Billy Porter portraying the Fairy Godmother in a glamorous gold gown with good glitter pants underneath waving his wand to change Cinderella played by Camila Cabello’s worn down outfit into a light blue pant suit.

Work with me, and you'll do what you WANT to do.

It sounds pretty simple - and truthfully, it is - but it is not at all easy.

Because:

We are excellent at our old thing, the thing we've been doing, and people prefer we just keep doing it. Even if we ourselves are just not that into it anymore.

Doing what other people want us to be doing is deeply exhausting, so we don't have a lot of energy (physical/mental/emotional) to give to a new endeavor.

Usually we are primary breadwinners, so striking out in a new direction appears to risk the security of the people depending on us.

Oh, and often what we really want is radically countercultural, so it entails swimming against currents of conditioning.

It's also likely our ideas have been building up for a long time, so we feel more overwhelmed than inspired when we sit with them.

Finally: the longer we've denied our own desires, the more our self-trust has eroded, and the more courage we need to move forward.

As you can see, I know this territory.

I know what we need to thrive here - and that it's not the same for everyone.

I know I can help you conjure the courage and clarity and momentum you need to make your own dreams come true.

While I wish I could invite you to join me this week at the rooftop pool of the Four Seasons, that luxury is reserved for my 1:1 client.

So I hope you'll consider the next best thing: Crucible.

Crucible is my 7 week small-group coaching program dedicated to helping you do what you want
WhatEVER you want.

You might want to set up an a little art studio and start painting again.

You might want to begin hosting monthly dinner parties with interesting people.

You might want to start a podcast.

You might want to get yourself solidly established into a cooking rhythm, or movement routine, or spiritual ritual.

You might want to finally clear out your closet and invest in a wardrobe that expresses who you are now.

You might want to get testimonials onto your website already.

You might want to outline your book, or write your erotic short story.

As long as your project is whole-self-honoring, I am here for it, because I know it is essential to your thriving.

Whatever it is, I bet you've been saying you'll do it for a long time now.

I also bet you're a bit annoyed with yourself, because doing this thing seems simple enough.

Again: simple, yes. But not easy.

So let me help you find the time, energy, and courage to make it happen.

Let yourself become a part of an inspiring intentional community.

See what extraordinary magic results from you doing what you want.

For me? It's making a living doing things like spending a few luxurious days dreaming and scheming world-changing offers with an ideal-in-every-way client.

It's my dream job. I made it myself.

love,

Natalie
